I would like to swap appartments in january 2010 (untik Januaru 24th). I am the owner of a really nice and very spacious (80 sqm) appartment, beautifully decorated and located in the center of Amsterdam. And I would like to live in Paris in january. The appartment is situated in the Kerkstraat, which is in between the canals... in other words: Rijksmuseum, Anne Frank House, Leidseplein, 9 streets and all nice bars, shops and restaurants are within a walking distance of max 15 minutes. The appartment has one large bedroom which sleeps a couple, there is also a couch in the livingroom that sleeps a single person. There are lots of books, an old skool wooden floor and nice furniture. The bathroom has a bath, there's a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, wireless internet and a hifi installation. I am a 29-year old writer, I work as a journalist for one of Holland's main newspapers. I haven't really managed to put up pictures online, but will sent them on request.

I am looking for an apartment in Paris for three months. My timing is flexible. Anytime during the next six months would be fine.

I am a responsible, single man who would like to swap his sunny, spacious 1BR apartment in the San Francisco Bay Area (in Oakland, 10 minutes by subway [BART] to downtown San Francisco). The apartment is in a small 1920s-era building, with beautiful architectural details. The apartment consists of large living room, good size bedroom, small dining room, and small kitchen. There is a queen-size bed in the bedroom. There is also a twin-size Aerobed for guests. The apartment is very quiet and sunny being on the top floor of a six-story building (which is located on a hill). There are eleven windows with views of the Oakland hills, the bay, and the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. High-speed internet is included. There are washers and dryers just off the lobby of the building.

In addition to being close to San Francisco, the neighborhood has a lot to offer. There are cafes, shops, farmers� markets, and restaurants�including Mediterranean, Mexican, Ethiopian, sushi, Chinese, Thai, and Indian, to name a few. There is a Whole Foods grocery store three blocks away and two health clubs nearby. And most importantly, there is Lake Merritt (a bird sanctuary) just two blocks from the apartment where you can walk and run, picnic, sail, and row�canoeing, kayaking, and sculling. The city of Berkeley and the University of California are only a few minutes away. In the Oakland and Berkeley hills there are fabulous redwood parks with hiking trails and breathtaking views.

If you want, I would consider letting you use my car too. It is an old Saab but it would allow you to visit the beaches in Marin County, the wine country in Napa Valley, and to explore Point Reyes Peninsula. The use of my car would also allow you to see more of San Francisco than you would could possible see otherwise, unless you rented a car or took taxis. You can get to many of the most interesting and beautiful places in San Francisco from the Lake Merritt district of Oakland, where my apartment is located, faster than you can from many neighborhoods in San Francisco. Of course if you prefer, you can take a ferry boat from Oakland to San Francisco. And in terms of weather, Oakland if usually 10 degrees warmer and sunnier because it does not get the deep marine layer of fog that San Francisco does.

I would like to swap my apartment for a quiet, centrally located, one- or two-bedroom apartment in Paris. I have two primary considerations. First, I am an editor for a book publishing company and I need extremely reliable, high-speed internet in order to do my job as I will be working from your apartment. Second, I have a two-year old cat (a Chartreux) which I will be bring with me who is ridiculously well behaved.

So, if you would like to live for a few months in the San Francisco Bay Area in exchange for your apartment in Paris, and you have high-speed internet and no objection to cats, I would love to hear from you. I have more photographs available on request. And we can talk via phone or Skype at your convenience.

My flat is at the subway station Goncourt - next to Republique, Oberkampf and Belleville. It's a 10-15 min walk to Beaubourg (2 subway stations). It's also next to the Canal Saint-Martin. I really love this neighborhood, there's plenty of small restaurants, bars, markets during the week, it's very friendly and lively. The name of the street : rue Jacques Louvel-Tessier, 75010.

We would like to swap our gorgeous 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath modern contemporary home for a 2-bedroom, 2 bath luxury apartment in central Paris from Dec 26 to Jan 2. Our 3,300 SF, 2-level home is located in the prestious community of Mill Creek, Washignton, just north of Seattle by freeway.

The main level consists of two stairways, a formal living room with soaring ceilings and a wall of windows that look onto the private backyard, and a great room with large flat-screen cable TV and gas fireplace for cozy and romantic evenings. It adjoins the kitchen with granite island cooktop that seats 3 and an informal eating area that seats 4. The formal dining room seats 6. There is a den/library with high-speed internet, and a guest room with cable TV, full-size bed and ensuite bath. Finally, there is a half bath and separate laundry room with washer and dryer.

The top level features a large master bedroom with king-size bed, leather recliner and large flat-screen cable TV, vanity area and ensuite bathroom and two decks. There is also an office with high-speed internet and it includes a day bed, small cable TV and Pilates floor exerciser. At the opposite end of the skybridge there is another guestroom with queen bed and ensuite bath, cable TV, bistro table and chairs, and private deck.

The backyard is very private and serene, with its 6-person hot tub (2 robes and plenty of towels provided), large deck, fountain and outdoor firepit surrounded by tall evergreen trees. At least one bay of the 3-car attached garage with an automatic door opener will be available for your use. We are surrounded by million-dollar homes and there are miles of walking trails and parks, yet we are only 5 minutes from shopping and a wide variety of restaurants. The weather in Seattle is very similar to Paris in December.

Hi!

I would like to swap my little apartment for the equivalent in London or in Amsterdam during Christmas holidays (18-23 or 25-30dec but I'm flexible on dates). My apartment is in a very safe and pleasant neighborhood, it is at 5 minutes by walking of the Eiffel tower, there are a lot of shops and there are many of subway lines (La Motte Piquet Grenelle station, lines 6, 8 and 10: you can be at the Latin Quarter in 10 min, at the �Arc de Triomphe� in 15 min, at the Op�ra in 10min...).

The apartment itself is small (30m�) but could host up to 4 people (there is a double bed and a futon), it is at the 1st floor in a very quiet building and the windows look on an internal yard.
We would be 2-4 people to go to your place.

I would like to swap my one bedroom apartment this Holiday Season (26th of Decembr to 3rd of January but the apartment is actually available from the 19th of December and I'm flexible on dates).

The apartment is fully furnished (linen, washing machine, oven, fridge and everything you need to cook and eat a French meal at home) and can host up to 4 people (double bed + sofa bed).

The apartment is located in an arty/trendy/lively neighborhood between Place de la R�publique, rue Oberkampf and Belleville. You'll find plenty of nice bars/restaurants/caf�s to hang out as well as a variety of grocery stores and traditionnal outdoor markets. The Marais (Old Town) is located only a couple of metro station away and the Canal St Martin in which Am�lie freed her goldfish is about 10 minutes away walking.

I'm looking for an apartment with a convenient location, preferably Manhattan or Brooklyn where I could stay and enjoy the holiday season New York style.

We are a retired couple who want to go to Paris in March or April 2010 for a 2-4 week stay. Our son lives in Berlin, so we will be going to visit him afterwards, so you could stay longer in SF if you wanted.

We have a five-room one bedroom Victorian flat in the sunny, warm neighborhood of Noe Valley in San Francisco (one room is a den with a sofa bed and can be fixed up as a very comfortable second bedroom). We have an electronic Yamaha piano, WiFi, and a flat screen colored TV.

There are many restaurants and trendy shops nearby, with the popular Mission District within walking distance. We are also 1/2 block from a Muni line that can take you to all parts of the city (a 10 minute ride to downtown).

You can use our car for touring anywhere: wine country, Yosemite, beaches, etc.

Hello! I just got back from spending a weekend in Paris and it was love at first site! Would love to spend my Christmas and New Years there and looking for someone or 2 who is looking to spend their Christmas and New Year in Berlin!
I have a beautiful 50sq. meter apartment with two balconies, in the center of the city with all major public transportation in close walking distance!

Ideally I would like to stay in the part of the city of Montamarte! Also I have a dog who I would like to bring with me, he is a small dog, (10 kilo) and VERY well behaved!
