Requirements: <br>
• Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant (inside and outside) sales experience in a professional services environment; minimum of two years in a senior level position. <br>
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, business, finance, economics or related field. <br>
• Have a “client first” approach to managing client interactions and expectations and creating win-win value for both the client and XPLANE. <br>
• Knowledge and experience in selling consulting and/or creative services and sufficient industry and technical knowledge to communicate effectively with a variety of industry groups. <br>
• Previous strategic planning experience; the ability to plan over a one-to-two year period. Experience in developing and executing tactical sales plans, including quotas and account objectives. <br>
• Proven and sustained sales track record. A strong customer focus; commitment to delivering quality solutions and maintaining effective customer relationships. <br>
• Motivation necessary for achieving or surpassing objectives; passion for improving delivery of services with a commitment to continuous improvement. <br>

Responsibilities <br>
• The role of Director of Business Development–EMEA will require identifying, qualifying, closing and growing business through relationship building. <br>
• Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures. <br>
• Familiarize self with all XPLANE services and product offerings. <br>
• Develop and make sales presentations to potential and existing clients, as well as internal constituents. Effectively communicates at all organizational levels. <br>
• Produce incremental revenue through effective managing of client relationships, outbound sales calls, inbound leads, response to request for proposal and other bid and proposal opportunities. Consistently achieve sustained sales results. Set high expectations for goals and performance measures for self and meeting/exceeding assigned goals. <br>
• Design, develop and deploy a comprehensive sales plan by account and identifies deal opportunities within each account. Complete assigned sales reports and Customer Relationship Management data in accurate and timely manner. Participate in sales processes and functions to include drafting Statements of Work, attending trade shows, making presentations, attending company and client meetings, etc. <br>
• Develop and qualify leads, phone prospecting, set up appointments, prepare and present sales proposals, close deals. Actively and aggressively prospect for new clients by generating new leads and/or research assigned territory for potential sales sources. Turn potential leads into sales results. <br>
• Transition new business from sales to client services in effective, efficient manner. Ensure smooth, seamless on-boarding of new clients or client processes. Actively identify client needs and ensure profitable solution-based selling to increase revenues and create value-added customer relationships. <br>
• Work with client services to identify and follow all client complaints, concerns or issues through to successful resolution. <br>
• Protect company proprietary and confidential information. <br>

Supervisory Responsibility – High <br>
Individuals in this role oversee the functional managers of the business development matrix including account managers, marketing managers, and public relations managers in various domestic and international locations, and are held responsible for their performance.<br>
