Our closest metro is Goncourt on the line 11, but we are also an easy walk to Republique � it�s a great area � 2 minutes walk from the Canal St Martin � which has become the new people-watching capital of Paris. There are lots of trendy shops and restaurants, and we are just 5 minutes from the very �branch� Place St Marthe, and a quick walk up the hill to Chinatown and the many artists� studios of Belleville.

We have been living in this neighborhood ourselves for the past 10 years, so we can vouch for the pleasure of a Sunday coffee at one of the canal-side cafes, or shopping at one of the nearby outdoor markets.

The 11 Metro Line is also very convenient for getting around Paris � 10 minutes direct to Chatelet.

My husband and I (I�m American, he�s French) live in the same building, so we are always available for questions or mishaps.

As I will on holiday visiting family in the US for three weeks, I am proposing my lovely one-bedroom apartment for up to three weeks.

The apartment is 35m2 (377 sq ft) and is located in the 10th arrondissement, rue de Maubeuge next to the North train station (Gare du Nord). You will have a plethora of transportation at your disposition (metro lines 4, 5, 7 and RER lines B, D & E). You can equally discover Paris by foot as you will be 20min from Sacr� Coeur, another 20min from R�publique, and about 30min from the Seine/ place du Ch�telet.

Upon arriving, you will find a fully furnished apartment, with wifi Internet access, cable television, washing machine and fully equipped kitchen (sorry, no microwave). The flat sleeps up to four people as there is a double-sized bed and a very comfortable two-person sofa bed.

Please send me a message if you are interested or have any further questions. The apartment is available between December 14th and January 2nd, but times and dates can been flexible - I'm asking no more than my actuel rent - Not looking to make money off this, just rent my place out!
